DSC06162Dominik Paprotny, from TUDelft, presented his research related to river floods at the biggest geosciences conference in Europe, the EGU General Assembly in Vienna. You can see here the abstract of his presentation.

He had the opportunity to discuss the results with researchers working on similar studies in a special session “Global and continental scale risk assessment for natural hazards: methods and practice”. Innovative approaches applied to flood research in RAIN project attracted interest and positive responses.

The European Geophysical Union General Assembly 2016 covered all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences. This year more than 10,000 participants from over 130 countries joined the conference.
