ceriBeatriz Martinez-Pastor, Maria Nogal and Alan O’Connor from the department of Civil Engineering at Trinity College Dublin presented the paper ‘Bi-phase methodology for sensitivity analysis of complex models, applied to the model of evaluating resilience in transport networks’ at the national civil engineering research conference.

The RAIN team had the opportunity to discuss the results with researchers working on similar studies and attend to the different sessions where the last civil engineering research and practice in Ireland where presented. With 119 full peer-reviewed technical papers, 5 keynote papers and over 180 delegates registered for the Civil Engineering Research in Ireland 2016 (CERI2016) conference, this edition, held in the Engineering Building at National University of Ireland (NUI) Galway, on 29th and 30th August, has been the largest in the conference series to date.
